To build in both easy care and versatility for Victor’s thick hair, Pritchard cuts to create texture, utilizing two different clippers and a variety of blades, both sculpting and special-effects. “I cut to give an unconventional texture,” he says. “I’ve been using texturizing blades a lot to remove bulk and to balance the hair, and one with blades that are farther apart to cut more space in the hair for very aggressive, heavy texture.”
